Puget Sound, but I've also travelled to Hawaii, Mexico, and Roatan, Honduras.

Dive Shops
Atlantis Aquatics: An excellent local dive shop. They have Nitrox fills. They have short hours but are very
knowledgeable.
Maui Dreams Dive Company: My favorite dive shop in Maui. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable
and fun. I took a Nitrox course and a rebreather course from them. The courses were fun and I learned
more theory than I thought possible. It's not a "cattle company" like another shop on the island. They
specialize in shore dives.
Underwater Sports: This is a dive shop in Seattle. They have a good inventory of equipment and operate
eight stores in Western Washington. We've used the Edmonds and Federal Way stores for air fills. Make
sure your tanks are within vis and hydro and that you have proper Nitrox stickers; they actually look.
Hoods Sport 'N Dive: The best dive shop on the Hood Canal. They are experts in cold water technical
diving. They also offer the only shore access to Sund Rock.

Spokane Area
Eagle's Landing - Lake Pend O'Reille: Freshwater diving next to a boat launch. Great visibility, but not
much to see except fuzzy rocks and the occasional item dropped by a boater. A dive flag is a must at this
location. You can go as deep as you want or just paddle around above the thermocline (about 40 feet).
Sanders Beach - Lake Coeur d'Alene: A tiny beach that's the been the subject of a lawsuit over
ownership. Easy diving and a couple of small, old wrecks. Easily irritated neighbors so don't expect to bring
the family for a picnic.
Seattle Area
Edmonds Underwater Park: A shallow dive with lot's of life and stuff to look at. The currents can be a
little surprising so look at the current table before you drive to Seattle.
Redondo Beach: A little more adventure than Edmonds. Lots of life, good visibility.
