Sugar Beach

When I'm not at work, I'm scuba diving, motorcycle riding, or travelling.
I dive primarily in Puget Sound. It's very cold, with strong currents and low visibility. Why would
anyone dive there? The marine life is incredible. The visibility is low because of all of the food
floating in the water. Puget Sound is the home of the Giant Pacific Octopus, the largest octopus in
the world. We see one on most dives.
Our motorcycle rides take place in Eastern Washington. It's a lot of fun to take the highways
through the small farm towns and the rolling wheat fields. We love to stop at the parks in the small
towns for quiet picnics.
Travel is usually Cabo San Lucas in February and Maui in late spring. We have a timeshare condo
on Medina Beach in Cabo. That's the beach next to the Cabo marina. Better landmarks are
probably The Office or The Mango Deck. Those are two famous watering holes on the beach. The
Mango Deck usually produces a few "Kodak moments" every afternoon.
In Maui, we like to stay on Sugar Beach near Kihei. Sugar Beach is a white sand beach that
stretches for miles. You can walk the beach or go swimming anywhere along its length.
